Founder’s Profile

Rohit Verma (Founder- Indoclan Exports)
Rohit’s story starts in the fast-paced corridors of top tech companies. Graduating from one of the top tech colleges and business schools of the country, he was a high-flyer in the world of technology and product leadership. But away from his laptop, he was a wanderer at heart, traveling to far corners of India and beyond, always in search of experiences that touched the soul.
When he moved to South India, the journey took on a new meaning. In just a couple of years, he explored over 20 destinations across the region, each revealing a cleaner, greener, and more soulful side of India.
In small villages and artisan workshops, he discovered crafts born from nature, woodwork shaped from fallen forest timber, handloom weaves dyed with plants, and art that told stories of centuries-old traditions. These were treasures you’d never find in a tourist shop. Rohit knew these works deserved to be celebrated globally. So, he traded his corporate career for a new mission: to take the art, craft, and heritage of South India to the world.
Ragini and Ankit (Co-founders Indoclan Exports)
Ragini and Ankit aren’t just family but partners purpose, and passion. Ragini, a graduate in International Commerce, brings an innate understanding of global markets, while Ankit, a graduate in Corporate Law, adds structure, governance, and clarity to the venture. Together for over a decade and proud parents of two wonderful daughters, they are also avid travelers who share Rohit’s deep admiration for South India’s culture and artistry.
But what truly drives Ragini and Ankit is their commitment to sustainability. As flag bearers of eco-conscious living, they believe in leaving behind a cleaner, safer, and greener world for their daughters. When Rohit shared his vision, it felt like a natural extension of their own values, a venture that was not just about commerce, but about preserving heritage, supporting artisans, and protecting the environment.

Together, the three founders of Indoclan Exports are building more than a business. They are creating a movement, one that ensures every artisan is met in person, every layer of middlemen is removed to keep products authentic and affordable, and every craftsperson is paid fairly for their intricate work.
